Editing & Writing

You've written something that needs another set of eyes. Or you need something written and don't have the time, the skill, or the distance from the material to do it yourself. Either way, you need someone who will take the work seriously and make it better.

I edit and ghostwrite for authors, researchers, and organizations. The projects I take on tend to involve complex material. Books on philosophy, theology, mental health, and business. Dissertations. Policy reports. Keynote speeches. Long-form research.

When I edit, I focus on structure, argument, and clarity. Not just grammar. I'll tell you what's working and what isn't, and I'll explain why.

When I ghostwrite, I do my own research, I ask the right questions, and I write in your voice. The finished product should sound like you on your best day.

Good writing is good editing. The two aren't as separate as people think.

Hebrew-English Translation

I'm a native speaker of both Hebrew and English. I grew up between the two languages and I've been translating between them since I was sixteen.

I've translated a novel, medical records, legal documents, tax filings, healthcare materials, and a book on founding startups. I also proofread and revise translations done by others.

Translation is not about swapping words. Every document has a register, a tone, an audience. A medical report doesn't read like a novel. A legal filing doesn't read like a blog post. I make sure your document sounds like it was written in the target language. Not translated into it.

I take on projects where clients need someone who can research a subject deeply, organize what they find, and present it clearly. That might mean a one-time deep dive with a written deliverable. Or it might mean an ongoing collaboration where I serve as a subject-matter resource over weeks or months.

My background is in philosophy and Jewish thought, and I have particular depth in biblical Hebrew, religious texts, and the history of ideas. But the skill is transferable. I've done research for enterprise clients, academic institutions, and independent projects across a range of fields.

If you have a question that needs real thinking and not just a Google search, let's talk.
